LIVE YOUR PURPOSE: TAKE BOLD STEPS OF FAITH

It's hard to step out of our comfort zone in a world filled with uncertainty and chaos. We naturally cling to stability, but in doing so we may lose sight not only of ourselves but also of God's purpose for our lives. Every follower of Christ has been given a purpose that goes beyond convenience: we are called to participate in God's mission. As we trust His unfailing plans and promises, we can rely on His strength, guidance, and faithfulness regardless of who we are or the circumstances we face.

GIVE GOD SOMETHING

Sometimes we refuse to move forward because we prefer what feels stable and comfortable. But as Christians, God reminds us that life isn't meant to be merely safe, it is meant to be lived by faith. Like the four lepers who had to choose between dying in the city or boldly entering the enemy camp, we are often faced with decisions that can change not only our lives but also the lives of those around us. Living by faith isn't always comfortable, but it is the pathway to seeing God work (Hebrews 11:6).      

GOD MAKES A WAY  

It's difficult to look beyond our circumstances when our resources, time, and efforts seem too limited to solve our problems. But God doesn't work the way we do. Our confidence isn't anchored in our own abilities but in trusting Him and surrendering to His will. When the lepers arrived at the enemy's camp, they discovered that God had caused the Aramean army to hear the sound of a great army, prompting them to flee and leave everything behind (2 Kings 7:6–8). Our problems may seem overwhelming, but God often uses them as opportunities for us to depend on Him and experience His power and grace in ways we never could on our own.

HE IS GOOD NEWS

When the lepers discovered the abandoned camp filled with food, treasure, and supplies, they knew they couldn't keep the good news to themselves (2 Kings 7:9). They were the last people anyone expected to save the city. They were outcasts, rejected and overlooked, yet God chose them to deliver a message that would save lives. In the same way, our failures and weaknesses don't disqualify us from being used by God. He has placed each of us where we are for a reason. When we take a step of faith, God uses ordinary people to point others to the hope found in Jesus and share the life-changing message of the gospel.
